Possible Cause

Common causes of P194E include a faulty electronic pressure control solenoid, hydraulic blockages inside the internal transmission fluid passages, mechanical internal transmission failures, low transmission fluid, dirty or contaminated transmission fluid, a faulty PCM or transmission control module.

Common Symptoms

Burned fluid is a certain indication that the transmission has been operated during a low fluid level condition and may have suffered catastrophic internal mechanical failure
A suitable OBD-II scanner (or code reader) and a digital volt/ohmmeter will be most helpful in performing a successful diagnosis
The PCM will read the sensor resistance and pass it
Check local, state, and federal laws before removing emission related components.
